Discussion: A piece of packing against the E wall of B.77, behind the wooden post U.17537. This material was compact in itself, but attached loosely to the wall behind it. Came off in large pieces. It extended from down in posthole U.21609 to a few dm up on the wall. 

Consistency: compact (chunky) 

Colour: grey-brown 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: charcoal, chunks of plaster 

Post-depositional Features: n/a 

Basal Boundary: constructional, sloping towards W (in posthole)
