Discussion: - Articulated human remains (U.21639) recorded within the feature (F.7640) appeared to be badly preserved skeleton of an infant. The data collected during the excavation stage of the remains allowed to interpret the described feature as primary undisturbed burial. The individual had been placed in flexed position on right side. The skull (cranium and mandible) was oriented SE, facing E. The poor condition of the all bones might be explained by the age of individual as well as by the fact of relatively high elevation (just under the make-up), which was exposed to probable trampling. Further information involved with the remains might be gained only in the course of supplementary specialist analyses.
