Discussion: Unit 21719 is a succeeding white plaster layer belonging to bench F.3439. This unit was found underlaying the compound layer of white plaster (U.20099). When U.20099 was excavated it seemed to be impossible to distinguish and excavate every single of one millimetre layer one by one. We decided to lump recognizeable layers together as a one unit.
This layer of white plaster was defined as a separate unit because of the fact that it consisted of small patches of red painting on its surface. The regular lines of red painting uncovered mainly on the south edge of the bench including remains of red pigment close to the rests of horn core.
This unit had been excavated partially in season 2014.
