Discussion: This unit is composed by a thin floor and a very thick layer of heterogeneous make up, presumably used to raise up the N platform (F3492) and level the surface prior to laying the floor. This layer belongs to the earliest phase of the N platform. Excavated by pickax and trowel. 

 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: grey and light brown 

Texture: clay 

Bedding: layered oriented. floor (1 cm) + make up (14 cm). 

Inclusions: plaster, clay, rare charcoal 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrow, root damage 

Basal Boundary: sharp
