Description: cut of a pit placed in southern part of sp.336 

Discussion: The cut (U.22096) appeared to be a round and very shallow incise placed in the vast infill (U.22075) of the foundation trench (F.7591). It seems that conducting the cut was involved with the aim of placing within it a vessel to hold it in vertical position, preventing slumping. Above mentioned assumption is supported by the shapes (in plan and section) as well as small depth of the described pit (F.7601).
