Discussion: Oven infill with oven superstructure material, chunks of plaster and collapsed wall material. This unit was recognized by colour and texture. The origin of the unit was infill of oven which is related F.7816. This unit may represent fire activity of B.160. This unit contains oven superstructure material, chunks of plaster and collapsed wall material. There is change in the deposit composition after removing superstructure material and collapsed wall material. The deposit was deliberately created in 2 single episodes. First one has more collapsed wall material, roof material and oven superstructure material, second one was silty clay, burnt and orangish layer. Second episode has more charcoal and burnt material than that first episode. The unit is located in the SE part of B.160,Sp.551. The orientation of deposit is NS. After taking out this fill, the edge of the superstructure identified clearly.
In terms of priority results, The deposit contains mixed material which is charcoal inclusions from the oven superstructure and the remains of the latest burning event.
This unit was excavated by trowel.
