Discussion: This unit was recognize after remove the infill of the room and expose the wall plaster. Two plaster bumps outgoing out of the line of the east wall of the building, separated about 0.30 cm was visible. This small space, was filled and packed with a mortar and plaster mixt. This packing is abutting the wall. Probably after build the walls they put a post, and they packed the space between the wall and the post with this mixture (U22392) and after that they plastered all together.
When they abandon the building they dig a retrieval post hole U22398, to remove the post, in that moment they remove the plaster but they didn’t remove all this packing.
We remove this remains when we dig the fill (U22390) of the retrieval post hole pit. This packing layer was very light greyish, almost white and very compact. When we remove this packing layer we took two different archive samples, one just with the out more part of the packing and another in the middle because the composition was a bit different, just more greyish and compact.
This packing layer, between two bumps in the wall and the presence of pure clay in the same area inside the pit, indicate the probable position of the post. Of course this mix of plaster and morter was abuting the E wall of the building and was cut for the retrieval post hole pit.
