Unit 22433
Category: Layer dug in 2015
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: White plaster layer from feature near bench
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: pedestal/podium/plinth; Material: plaster; Deposition: homogeneous; Basal Spit: unpainted
Discussion: This unit is a white plaster layer covering bench extension F.7416. Unit was sealed by plastering event extending from top part of bench construction F.7415 (U.22430).
This layer was sitting directly on bricks U.22434 and mortar layer U.22435.
In contrast to bench construction F.7415 layers, this unit seems to be a remnant of single plastering event. Base on that it is highly possible that the whole extending feature f.7416 has been using just for short period of time.
