Discussion: Very eroded breaks on the east wall of room B6. This unit was not first recognized as bricks, it was first thought of as a room fill. The unit was made a priority unit as it made no sense that it would be room fill. The specialists studied the material with the purpose of determining if u22502 had a composition (animal bone, obsidian, phytoliths) similar to a wall or room fill. The results were pointing at that the unit had more similarities to a room fill than a wall. It was not until we read the discussion from 1999 (when they first recorded this wall) that we understood that the unit was a heavily eroded wall of brick and mortar (see feature sheet 486). 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: light brown 

Texture: silty, sandy clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: specks of chalk, and charcoal 

Post-depositional Features: erosion, rain, walking, trampling (long exposed) 

Basal Boundary: clear
