Discussion: This is the mud brick of the western wall of B. 131. It is extremely burnt, particularly in the SW corner where we believe the fire was started; in fact, a great deal of the mud brick in this corner has turned to dust and slumped off since its exposure in 2014. It was not excavated in 2015. 

Consistency: compact toward N, extremely loose and delicate toward S 

Colour: grey/orange-- orange to S where most burnt 

Texture: mud brick
