Discussion: This unit represents the cut for sk. 22615, placed immediately against the N wall of B. 131. We do not know the original layer into which the cut was made-- physically it appears to be made into u. 22617-- the foundation layer for B. 129, but there is an ongoing debate about whether this burial was originally made in a platform that is not preserved, or whether it was part of a founding event for the house. Most evidence points to the former, though there is a pattern emerging in several buildings to the south that seem to contain foundation burials.
