Unit 22626
Category: Cut dug in 2015
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: burial cut
Data Category Information: Description: burial
Description: There was a cut as it was a primary burial but due to erosion and exposure at the top of the mound we were unable to see it. In addition, the burial fill was difficult to differentiate from building infill, making the cut impossible to identify in section as well.
Discussion: The cut u.22626 was for the burial sk.22620 that was in relation to b.129. The cut was made into an in situ layer that we do not see, we only have the foundation layer remaining u.22617. In the building it was situated on the eastern wall., most likely into a painted platform.
