Unit 30276
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: TPC
Interpretive Categories: Plastered Bin Surface
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: bin; Material: plaster; Deposition: homogeneous; Basal Spit: unpainted
Discussion: This unit is the layer of plaster inside the bin strucutre. It is the last deposited layer in this feature. The plaster is compact. Because of that, distinction between this and the next layer was easy. The plaster layer wasn't burned. That suggests that the layer isn't an effect of activities connected with burning the feature. The plaster layer could be related with some protecting or displaying functions. The unit was excavated by trowel with using the brush.
Consistency: compact
Colour: grey
Texture: plaster
Bedding: massive
Inclusions: none
Post-depositional Features: animal burrows
Basal Boundary: color change from grey to more yellowish; structure of the bin appeared
