Discussion: This cut was recognized a bit too late during excavation. However, it was clear cut into the bin walls of F.3698 and into clay content of F3688. The Western extent of the cut remains unknown because of the sondage cut made in 2012.

The cut was presumably later than the bin F3698. Probably it is to be associated with the abandonment phase. It was not very regular and contained a compound fill and a baby. So it is not very formally done (compare F.3691, F.7134), but is still considered a burial cut. 

 

Shape: Ovoid, semi-rectangular 

Sides: Vertical, but not entirely sure on top. 

Base Break: Sloping and gradual 

Base: Round, sloping
