Discussion: It was seen immediatly beneath plaster u.20957. It was a make up patch directly on an earlier floor. Perhaps it is to be seen as the border of the earlier phase of F3699, but probably as an addition or elevation, in order to make the plaster base of the basin more elevated/longer. Beneath was also a patch of plaster base, perhaps a part of it was meant to be disguised /reduce the feature's size.

Colour: Light brown 

Texture: Silt 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: None specific 

Post-depositional Features: Animal furrowing cuts this unit in its southern border 

Basal Boundary: Very clear.
