Unit 30589
Category: Skeleton dug in 2013
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: Primary
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: This is the remains of an infant individual. Since the cut was seen rather late in the process, some bones were not photographed in situ, long bones belonging to one upper limb. However their position was observed and noted, especially that of the humerus which were found with distal end pointing upwards. It appears as this baby was deposited head first, not supporting the idea of a formal burial similar to other in the building.
