Unit 30628
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: possible make-up layer on east bench
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: This unit was recognized by a clear basal boundary identifiable by color and consistency of soil following the removal of U. 30627, a make-up and plaster level. Along the dotted line shown in the sketch, there was a possible division identified primarily by color difference. The more eastern section was notably more grey than the light brown more western section. The division was not clear however and so they were combined in one unit. The southern boundary of the unit is also unclear due to a highly eroded plaster surface that lies adjacent to U. 30628.
