Unit 30940

Category: Layer    dug in 2014

Area: South

Interpretive Categories: infill, burial

Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: burial

Discussion: The unit is recognizable on the top by charcoal and grey layer. The borders are very defined and the infill is next to the cluster (u.30945). The layer color and texture are very consistent and there is a pot sherd in the upper level of the infill. In the middle of the pit (15 cm) there are human bones (foot). It is impossible to continue the excavation because this burial is located under the south section of the excavation ( the section close the foundation of the shelter). Therefore, the interpretation of this unit is a burial very unusually located in the dirty floor area.
