Unit 31181
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: Trench 5
Interpretive Categories: burnt plaster, oven / fire installation
Data Category Information: Location: building
Discussion: This layer was recognized by ist orange-copper colour. It has a 3/4 circular shape, the rest beeing hidden by the non excavated area behind N-S a W-E section. It is surrounded by the sticking out underlying white plaster 31174. It is up to 1 cm thick and mixed with particels of ashes (grey dark). On top of it was fill 31188, wich was however hard to separate from it. This burnt layer might indicate a kind of five installation, though it is thinner and it is "smaller" would not speak for a regular use. Maybe it is only burnt plaster, be it on a local basis or on the whole unpreserved layers.
