Discussion: U.31558 refers to cut of posthole F.7875 in the southern-West part of the building 132. All of the sides of the cut was vertical that implies the position of the wooden post, which judging by the depth of the cut was placed 40cm below the last floor plaster level. The sides were smooth in touch and light grey in colour hence they were easy to define.
