Discussion: The dark-grey bricks U.31560 composed the building material were used for erecting the E-(later) wall F.7736 of Sp.531. Within the badly preserved structure there were recorded only 6 courses of bricks within the tallest part of the wall which reached the height up to 0.53m. The size of the individual brick varied but in few cases it was possible to measure the dimensions that go as follow: 0.65 – 0.75 m – Length x 0.30 m – Width x 0.06 – 0.07m - Thickness.
The excavation of the wall F.7736 had been conducted in its Northern and Central portion. There had been decision made not to excavate the most southern part of the structure in order to protect the earlier S-wall F.3679 and prevent its falling down. The latter strategy of leaving the small part of the Wall 7736 in the SE corner of B.132 was based on the height off the wall which started cracking.
Apart from the routinely collected samples the dry-sieved volume of the sediment was combined together from the mortar as well as from the bricks and its total amount was 675 L.
