Discussion: A circular cut U.31593 was recorded in southern part of the huge pit F.787. Worth noticing is that the latter feature constituted an extensive truncation located in W-part of the main room (Sp. 531) of B.132.
The outline of the described cut U.31593 had been exposed after exploration of the overlying infill U.31555. The mentioned deposit was combined firstly with cut U.31554 and consequently with pit F.7873. However, it appeared that ca.15cm below the highest elevation of the feature (F.7873) there were three additional depressions evidenced. One of them is the presented here cut 31593. In that case, the unit might be regarded as a deeper part of the feature, but its circular shape and its particular placement next to the side of the W-wall F.7346 within whom rounded scar had been recorded – all of the above mentioned evidences imply that there was a wooden post placed which had been taken out. Most important thing to add here is that within the base of the cut there was small (4cm depth) circular (40cm diameter) depression registered which indicate the original placement of the post. And 63 cm to the North additional hole (23 – 13cm) had been recognized.
Taking these data into consideration the cut 31593 (as a whole) might be interpreted as the actual remainder of the regaining wooden source in order to employ it in next construction. In that term the unit 31593 should be regarded as post retrieval cut executed in the demolition phase of B.132.
Worth noticing is that the described above cut was not the only one recorded in the pit F.7873. Accordingly there was also another cut U.31591 located northward which altogether with the wall 7346 had been oriented along NE. The alignment might mark a kind of light division (screen) that restricted main room of B.132 to the West. So far the opening between the mentioned wall (F.7346) and northern wall (F.7584) was not clear. However, the cuts indicate that there must have been some constructional elements set and they were probably made with the use of light (wood) materials.
