Discussion: Unit 32008 was assigned to record a small patch of dark-grey/mid-brown sandy-silt layer situated on top of the plastered (U.31568) base of the intra-wall Niche (F.7855) which was carved into the S-wall (F.3679) of B.132. The deposit was recorded only in eastern part of the mentioned Niche below infill (32006) that was accumulated there during the throughout sealing process that took place after abandonment. The letter assumption referring to the niche which was open till the very last occupational phase and then was filled totally allows to presume that whatever was placed on the surface of plaster (31568) before sealing the incised hole must have been related with an actual function that it (the niche) played in the past. For that reason 3 samples (1-archive, 2-flotation, 3-phytoliths) had been collected during the exploration of the unit in order to give some insights into the character of activities and possible role of the Feature. The presented deposit reminded dirty floor layer that was recorded all over the interior of Sp.531 as U.31540.
