Unit 32028
Category: Cut dug in 2016
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: cut below fire instalation
Data Category Information: Description: oven
Discussion: Cut U.32028 had been recognized as irregular truncation that demolished southern part of sp.531 next to its S-wall (F.3679). The cut truncated also layer of floor 32015 in the mentioned spot, which makes a good stratygraphical relationship with others features identified within the segment of the room. The presented here opening was executed in order to set within the locale an oven (F.7737). The cut was performed as concave, relatively shallow depression (13cm depth) that constituted the 1st constructional stage of the mentioned fire installation. The latter must be regarded as the earliest oven that was erected after ceasing the exploitation of older oven (F.7732) situated to the west. The cut most plausibly had been executed together with the semi-oval intra-wall incise which was used for arranging there back-side of the dome.
