Interpretive Categories: Plaster on south wall of building 

Description: During removal of the infill red paint became visible, the painting was found both directly under the infill, as well as under patches of a single layer of plaster. While very little of the paint remains, a geometric pattern of red and black stripes stepping latterally east to west along the wall was visible. The deteriorated nature of the painting made recording difficult. As this was on/near the surface it appears to have been one of the last phases of the wall before abandonment.
