Description: hearth base 

Discussion: Hearth base U.32442 is located in the SE part of Sp.551. This unit was recognized by colour, consistency and texture. The origin of the unit was base of hearth which is related F.7837. The unit may represent fire activity surface and there was no artefacts on the base. This base was 2 cm thick and eroded on West part of oven F.7816. It was burned, cracked and orangish Brown-black. This base shows the last usage of the feature. The orientation of deposit is NS. After taking out this base, the make -up of oven identified clearly.
This unit was excavated by trowel.
