Discussion: This is a distinct mortar that made up wall F.7835. It not only bound mudbricks but also covered the wall face and extended over earlier wall F.7841. Interestingly, the thickness of this mortar was in many places much larger than thickness of mudbricks. It had also much more compact structure than mudbricks used to build the wall.
