Description: post retrieval pit fill
Discussion: Post retrieval pit fill with patchy floor material and dump material. The unit excavated partially. This unit was recognized by colour and texture.The origin of the unit was infill of post retrieval pit and possibly for some post from West Wall which is related F.8166. This unit is represent abondanment process. Because especially, inside of the fill there was collapsed material, patchy floor remains. The unit is located in the W part of Sp.605. This deposit was deliberately accumulated possibly 2 episodes. First one has more patchy floor remains, second one has more dump material. The orientation of deposit was unclear. The The orientation of deposit is N-S. It look like regular shape but shape of the pit was unclear because of didnt expose all edge of post.
This unit was excavated by trowel.
