Unit 32630
Category: Cut dug in 2016
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: postretrival
Data Category Information: Description: posthole
Discussion: This is a postretrival pit situated next to an eastern wall F.8168 of building B.161. It truncated a north- eastern platform U.32626 and a bench U.32626. It was filled with a deposit that included collapsed material. At the bottom of the pit a place where a post was situated was recorded. Interestingly, the wooden post seemed originally not to abut the wall. There were vertical and horizontal layers of plaster situated in situ between the post and the wall.
