Discussion: Layer exposed after remove the floors of the latest phase of the building U32634 (Sp. 606) and U32626 (Sp. 605) which ones was covering the surface of this fire installations. This detail and the fact that the oven F8160 seems to be partially build on the top, indicates that this fire installations belongs to an earliest phase of the building. We only exposed the base of this possible hearth and we didn’t excavate. Seems to be a very burn orange clay base.
Burn brown/orange layer, very compact, that correspond to the base of the latest phase of that feature. The base is truncated in the south west corner, were extents the retaining wall U32650, which was built above the hearth. (02/05/2017-CB)
