Discussion: The sediment assigned as U.32748 was recorded within the clear circular cut U.32749 which truncated the base 32746 of the fire installation F.8327 in the South-central part of the Sp. 531. The infill composed of sandy-silt components which sealed completely the mentioned pit (F.8328). Due to presented context the fill must be regarded as a scoop. The interpretation takes into special consideration fragments of clay-balls as well as ground-stones that were discovered on the bottom of the cut. All of them were collected together with the mineral sediment as S.2 (flotation sample) to be proceeded afterwards. Furthermore the shallow concave pit might be regarded as a kind of symbolical closure act that finalized the use of the fire installation.
