Discussion: Infilling in pit F241/(3282) space 154 next to platform in SW corner, but it is really next to wall F230! Says Craig! Not really so different from (3274) but had different colours etc (see colour over).
Difficult to follow the cut edges in places and unsure whether the bottom of the pit has been found or not!
Recognition: Colour and texture change noticed when digging, differs from unit above (3274).
Definition: Defined by cut of pit.
Execution: Trowel and enjoyment.
Condition: Slightly moist.
Consistency: compact, but friable when crushed
Colour: patchy 10 YR 5/6 yellowish brown also 7.5 YR 6/8 reddish yellow; 7.5 YR 5/2 very dark brown - 10 YR 8/2 pinkish white, 7.5 YR 6/1 grey
Texture:
Bedding: probably compound layered
Inclusions: some hard clay lumps (poss. mortar), 5-10 mm 5%, plaster fragments 10%, 5-10 mm

Basal Boundary: anthropogenic/diffuse/contrast visible/smooth
