Unit description: A small unit, looks more like floor unit. Except for one large piece of O/C metapodial, all small pieces, and almost all sheep-sized. Most body parts represented, but no feet. No microfauna. Some burning, both high and low temperatures. Somewhat weathered, a few quite rolled. No digestion. Could be somewhat dirty floor; remnants of daily meals, not cleaned up. Puppy (3553) was a cluster within this, and some puppy bones were taken from this unit bag and put with 3553. The O/C metatarsal had light, small skinning marks, reinforcing the interpretation of this material as food remains. NR 2003: Sample 9 >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. Very small, even for 23 liters. Two pieces of worn large mammal scrap that look as though they were in construction material, and one very fresh bit of bird bone.
