Dimensions: 4.40 x 5.60 x 0.40m. deep. 

Discussion: Covers all of Building 6 excavation area. When upper recent layers removed, there appears to be two collapsed walls, which are probably sitting on lower Mellart fill. Dry Sieve Information: Not dry sieved but may have hand picked finds 

Recognition: Grassed over area within Space 163. 

Definition: Clearly defined brown silty deposit. Finds include nails, string, plastic, etc. 

Execution: Mattock, trowel, no half-section. 

Condition: Dry. 

Consistency: Friable. 

Colour: Mid. brown. 

Texture: Sandy silt. 

Bedding: Unorientated. 

Inclusions: Rare charcoal <2%. Occ. Mellart nails, wax labels etc. 

Post-depositional Features: Animal and root action. 

Basal Boundary: Smooth, clear.
