Discussion: Platform feature in SW corner of space 163.
Appears to be the basal core of a platform overlying infill of a lower building. The top may have been removed by Mellart excavations. Consists of very mixed material including fire installation fragments and mortar, though not clearly structured and therefore not strictly compound layered.

Unit description: A small unit from the platform in Building 6. The colour ranges from light brown to black with a large percentage of burnt bone. The average fragment size is larger than 'normal' (i.e. for floors/makeup layers) but most pieces are still highly fragmented and not identifable past general category. identifiable taxa include cattle and pig and sheep.
