Dimensions: 0.36m ns by 0.30m ew by 0.20m depth 

Discussion: This deposit appears to be th fill of bin [4247]. Very difficult to distinguish from the surrounding deposits. Only noticed in excavation as the basin layer was revealled - remaining context was sampled.

I am not confident that the sample was pure.

Not much of the deposit remaining prior to excavation. Dry Sieve Information: Probably some dry sieve but amount unknown 

Recognition: noted as a darker deposit below 4183, hard to see. 

Definition: contained within plaster layer below 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: poor, dry 

Consistency: friable 

Colour: mid greyish brown 

Texture: sandy silt 

Bedding: massive with occasional orange coloured lenses 

Inclusions: charcoal<2%, grit <2% bone 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrow 

Basal Boundary: smooth sharp
