Consistency: brick 4421-compact, brick 4418 - compact, mortar 4419 very compact.
Colour: 4421-mid brown, 4418 dark brown, mortar-light-mid grey
Texture: all silty-clay, bricks with some sand, mortar very clayey.
Bedding: massive
Inclusions: very few inclusions - the odd fragment of charcoal, shell or bone/stone. In mortar, large, roundish pebbles 2-4cm long, occasional bone and shell
