Discussion: 4786 was a bright orangish-brown layer of material which together with 4507, made up the partition F528 between the clean and dirty areas to the east of building 23. These two material seem to have been used somewhat like the brick and mortar of a wall, with 4786 being used to grout the slab-like deposit 4507. 4786 formed a surface over 4507 at the southern end of the feature and could have done for the rest of its extent, but there was no evidence that this was the case. It also served to provide a gradual slope up from the floors to either side of the partition.
