Discussion: Small patch of floor layers standing slightly proud of the main beige floors at the south end of F527. Consists of some darker layers which may be evidence of clean floors becoming slightly in this area of interface between 'clean' and 'dirty' zones. 

Recognition: Darker, slightly raised deposits above the main body of floors in F527 

Definition: Dark layers over light layers 

Execution: Trowel from edges 

Condition: Firm, slightly moist and heavily truncated 

Consistency: Firm 

Colour: Mottled grey, brown and beige 

Texture: Silty clay 

Bedding: Compound layered 

Inclusions: <5% small bone and charcoal flecks 

Post-depositional Features: Occasional root and insect disturbance 

Basal Boundary: Clear, smooth anthropic
