Discussion: 11.08 Cutting back S section finds X3, X4 and X5 in a group sitting on a floor and associated with X1 (SF)

This appears to be an interface that Mellaart cut down to rather than a floor assoc with Sp.205, unless the floor is associated with a later, now eroded wall above those of Sp.205. 

 

Execution: Hand pick, trowel and hand showel 

Condition: hot and dry 

Consistency: medium hard and it is giving a face 

Colour: orange 

Texture: silty sand 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: charcoal, animal bone, grinding stone, stone axe fragments
