Discussion: NB check 5593 for stray H bone
Deposit surrounding the skeleton 5608. Same as general deposit in area-clay across whole midden area, seeing it as a bedding or levelling or consolidation layer area soft midden- appears to have been laid at same time as wall 1077 as bricks are similar material and wall immediately on buirals 1101 and 1102, such that the skull/ parts of 1102 and same bones of 1101 would have protruded as the wall was constructed. The skeleton was not placed in a cut as far as was visible.
Consistency: mixed -upper layer of compact sandy silt and clay (20:40:40) and underlying soft ash and silt (20:80)
Colour: mid yellow brown and mid grey

Bedding: compound layered
Inclusions: clean clayey layer and usual midden deposit with moderate to freq cahrcoal, occasional white chalk flecks, occ caprolite and hackberries
