Unit 6117
Category: layer dug in 1999
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: floor and packing layer
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: Begun digging in S-most to try to follow floor from the S in tothe N, however this floor was difficult to follow. Procede to the E boundary of the unit and followed white plaster floor surface to the W until I could see other plaster layers/floors. Attempting to follow one plaster layer was somewhat difficulthowever it seems that uppermost white plaster layer is more solid and is along N wall. Near middle od area it seems that lower plaster floors have been reached which have a friable texture which crumbles upon snaping. The more solid white plaster floors pick up again in S area of the unit where they begin to slope down dramatyically to the S. Floors and packing are generaly clean w/ no visible artifacts.
