Unit 6154
Category: cut dug in 1999
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: cut into the floor
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: This cut was made into multiple layers of floor in this area. It is most probable that here it was cut from the upper most layer of the floor (the latest one). Its bottom represents one of these older floors. However the cut continues on some sides around this base too. In one of the postholes that are visible in this cut there is a positive dry-ball (?) like object. It was left in place. There are isolated three breaks from the top of the cut, which could maybe indicate that the same place was used in relation with earlier floors too, although this is not certain since it is hard to explain then how the cut was made from the top to these breaks. Also its shape might indicate the side from which it was cut - by person standing on the space indicated on the sketch.
