Discussion: The burial fill was excavated in northern and southern parts with uit 6323 separating the two halves. In the orthern half of the unit, the upper burial fill was filled with plaster in addition to the midden fill. The southern half of the unit was softer and less filled with the plaster bits. The midden fill had numerous animal bones, obsidian and charcoal in it. Human bones did not occur in the upper levels of the unit (as in unit 6323). Most of the bones appeared scattered without articulation with corresponding bones. At the basal boundary of the unit (where this unit conjoins with the bases of leveles of unit 6323), articulated bones were evident. It appears that the EW burial cut of unit 6323 may still have a burial in it. Excavation of all these units (632 and 6603) was stopped until the other burial cut in the platform could be determined. SW edge of platform located on 14/08/00. Small xxxx excavated and sampled separately (S9 flotation).
