This unit(6643) was excavated around the skeletal material beginning in the northern area of F.647. It was left separate from unit 6639 (F.644). However, it became clear as we excavated both these features that this was an arbitrary separation since the bones are jumbled together. The burial fill around these bones is intemingled as the bones. TheseThese units were therefore completed - the burial fill will now constitute one unit vs two.
A number of bones were xxxxx during the excavation of these two units including 2 crania (located near one another), two articulated feet (separated); several long bones (legs + arma). These bones were photographed but not drawn. The bones xxxxxxx to be disturbed rather than articulated. A lot of ash + charcoal were found in the excavation of the unit.
