Unit 6801

Category: Cut    dug in 2001

Area: TP

Interpretive Categories: burial cut

Data Category Information: Description: burial

Dimensions: 0.65 x 0.45

Discussion: Only the E part of cut was visible. Boundary was defined arbitrary near the cluster of bones. Other human bones was found towards W and it was allocated to unit 6799. This can be regarded as W boundary of the cut 6801. The cut was destroyed by later wall 6868. It can be assumed that it had been a burial and the wall caused dislocation of bones.

Recognition: visible only in E, W, boundaries not clear, color more dark, consistency more loose than around
