Unit 6892
Category: layer dug in 2001
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: stone wall
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking
Discussion: The wall built of stones of different size and shape. Its preserved part consists of one layer of small and medium size stones. The wall is oriented N-S (two layers of stones in part W). It was destroyed by a later pit (unit 6823), oriented W-E . The wall was built on top of an earlier wall oriented E-W and made of mud bricks. The other part of this stone wall was recorded as unit 6892. It is possible that this might be the foundation of wall that might have been made of mud bricks.
