Discussion: This is a single row consisting of 11 mud bricks of different dimensions varying from 39x17cm to 30x17cm, ca. 7 cm thick, put one after another along their longer axes. The mud bricks are oriented E-W. Most of them were not well preserved. It is not certain if 7040 and neighbouring 7039 constituted separate walls or whether it was just one wall consisting of 2 rows of bricks.
This row is younger than the stone wall 7085.
