Discussion: Relatively homogenous grave fill containing mainly early Chalcolithýc artefacts. Also included were limestone fragments (med sýzed) c. 20cm x 15cm, c. 40 fragments. Also a large number of tiny limestone chips also produced. In total, 1 bucketfull of limestone chips.
NB. Coffin nails mostly along S sýde of cut at heýght c.1008.0.
Recognition: Distinct area of soft brownish fill, truncating prehistoric walls.
Definition: Generally clear, to the south against wall and to N against brownish, ashy deposit, going down, edge of cut defined by appearanceof plastery fill.
Execution: Trowel, in plan.
Condition: Dry
Consistency: Soft/friable, occassionaly when dry.
Colour: 10 YR 4/3
Texture: Silty clay loam.
Bedding: Massıve
Inclusions: Mixed artefacts, mainly residual. C.3% human bone <1%, disarticulated and generally small limestone blocks, ave sıze <1%.
Post-depositional Features: Occassional root and anımal disturbance, generally round edges.
Basal Boundary: Distinct but slightly diffuse, except area 7298 where level and
