Unit 7305
Category: layer dug in 2002
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: pit infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 1.20 x 0.80 x 0,60
Discussion: It was a lower part of the unit 7113 recognised in 2001. Its dimensions were larger and the infill slightly different- darker and looser that is why it was defined as a separate unit. At the beginning it was even supposed that these were 2 separate pits but after analysing the profile it occurred that it was one, larger feature.
Recognition: by consistency and color- looser and slightly darker than around
Definition: within the cut-clear boundaries, only N part available within the excavated area
Execution: trowel
Condition: hot, dry
Consistency: various- firm at the top, looser at the base
Colour: mid brown/mid grey
Texture: silt loam with lenses of clay, sand
Bedding: layered: see above
Inclusions: pottery, bones, obsidian, flecks of charcoal, lumps of mudbricks, stones
